Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Making a Booking

A booking is confirmed once we have received your reservation details and any required payment or deposit. A confirmation will be issued by email or through the booking platform used to make your reservation.

The person making the booking must be aged 18 or over and is responsible for ensuring that all guests are aware of and agree to these terms.

2. Payment

Payment requirements vary depending on the booking method and rate selected. Guests may be required to provide payment details or make payment in full at the time of booking.

Any outstanding balance must be paid before or upon arrival unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

3. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies vary depending on the rate and booking channel selected.

Where a booking is cancelled outside of the permitted cancellation period, charges may apply. Any non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded unless required by law.

Guests should refer to their booking confirmation for the specific cancellation terms applicable to their reservation.

4. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed as part of your booking information.

Guests must follow any arrival instructions provided. We reserve the right to request valid identification and/or payment verification where required.

Late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and may incur an additional charge.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to treat t property, rooms, furnishings and facilities with care and respect.

Guests must not cause excessive noise, disturbance, damage or inconvenience to other guests, staff or neighbouring properties.

The Lobster Pots reserves the right to refuse or terminate accommodation where guest behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive.

6. Damage and Loss

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss or additional cleaning costs caused during their stay, whether accidental or intentional.

We reserve the right to recover reasonable costs associated with damage, missing items or additional cleaning requirements.

7. Occupancy

Rooms may only be occupied by the number of guests stated on the booking confirmation.

Guests must not allow additional people to stay overnight without prior approval.

8. Smoking and Restricted Activities

Smoking, vaping and the use of illegal substances are not permitted inside the property.

Any additional cleaning or restoration costs resulting from breaches of this policy may be charged to the guest.

9. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their own belongings during their stay. The Lobster Pots cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items unless caused by our negligence.

10. Our Liability

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that all accommodation and services are provided to an appropriate standard.

We cannot accept liability for circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, utility failures, or events beyond our control.

11. Privacy

Any personal information provided during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

12. Complaints

We aim to provide a positive experience for all guests. If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to resolve the matter.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Lobster Pots reserves the right to update these terms and conditions when necessary.
